Our Committees
- Pedestrian/Bicycle Safety Committee
- As the name implies, this committee is tasked with seeking ways to improve walkability/biking in Bishops Corner. Conversations have already begun with the State DOT and town to enhance the effort.
- Arts at Bishops Corner
- The Bishop Corners Arts Committee is committed to establishing an awareness of the arts in our section of West Hartford. We want others to know this is a hub for the arts not only because of those artists within the geographical border of Bishop Corners but also because of those from two great universities in our community: The University of Saint Joseph’s and The University of Hartford. Both have thriving art centers within walking distance. Our mission is to educate, inspire, enlighten, entertain, and inform all those interested in the Arts. We encourage the writers, artists, and musicians in our corner of West Hartford. The group has sponsored “Poetry on the Patio”, “Meet the Artist” and various other events over the last year.
- Bishops Corner Farmers’ Market
- The BCNA is the sponsoring organization for the farmers’ market. We work with farmers, town and private commercial stakeholders to run this successful farmers’ market.
- BCNA Marketing Committee
- This group is tasked with creating ways to interact with and educate individuals on various goals, activities, etc of the BCNA.
