About the BCNA, Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association
The Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association (BCNA) is a not-for-profit organization comprised of local residents, businesses, non-profits, and advocates for the Bishops Corner Neighborhood of West Hartford. Specifically, our goals include beautification of Bishops Corner, Increase pedestrian and bicycle safety, facilitate communication with residents, businesses and not for profits and play an active role in redevelopment projects in Bishops Corner.
You may not realize how long the Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association has been around for – almost 40 years! During most of that timespan, the BCNA sprang to life when challenges came up that would negatively affect Bishops Corner (i.e. advocate for the Bishops Corner Branch Post Office to remain open). However, In 2014, the group was revitalized and it now plays an active role in everything that happens in Bishops Corner.
The Bishops Corner Neighborhood Association meets the 2nd Friday of each month at the Bishops Corner Senior Center from 8:00am-9:00am. View the current BCNA events and meetings. Most subcommittee meetings are in the evening hours. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
